  • BABOK-aligned artefacts
  • Source-cited generation
  • Word + Excel export
  • Data stays in your region

The "AI for BAs" market is mostly ChatGPT with a prompt template

Most tools marketed as AI for business analysts are a thin wrapper around a general LLM with a few prompt presets. They produce a plausible-sounding BRD, a generic user-story list, and a RAID log that names risks no one has on the project. The work output is impressive in a demo and unsigned-off in a real review.

BA work is precisely the place where this approach breaks down. The job is synthesis from a specific project context, not generation from thin air. Senior reviewers reject content that cannot cite its source. Engineering teams reject backlogs whose stories are not traceable. Investment committees reject business cases whose benefits are not validated.

BAs are also a long-suffering audience for productivity tools. Most of them have been promised "AI for documentation" twice already this decade and learned that "documentation" was the easy part — the hard part is producing artefacts that an organisation will actually run on.

Reqify is the BA workspace, not a chat box

Reqify is purpose-built for the BA toolkit. Every artefact — BRD, FRD, business case, user stories, RAID log, elicitation plan, project charter, RACI, RTM, data dictionary, business rules catalogue, integration requirements, gap analysis, NFR specification, change request, impact assessment, more — has a structured schema, a retrieval-grounded generation flow, and a structured output you can edit as data rather than as a Word file.

Generation is retrieval-augmented: every section cites the source. The model sees your actual discovery files, stakeholder context, and prior artefacts — not a generic prompt template. Where information is missing, Reqify flags it inline so you know exactly what stakeholder input is still required.

The output is then alive. Edit a requirement and the requirements table stays in sync. Update an assumption in the BRD and the RAID assumption track reflects it. Push to Jira; smart-links round-trip back. This is what AI for business analysts has to look like to earn the work.

What you get as a BA

The full BA artefact suite

BRDs, FRDs, business cases, user stories, RAID logs, elicitation plans, charters, RACIs, RTMs, data dictionaries, NFR specs, integration requirements, more.

Grounded in your project

Every section retrieves from your uploaded files. Stakeholders, decisions, dates, and constraints come from your context — not invented.

Structured + editable

Outputs are both prose and data. Edit either side; the other stays in sync. Filter, bulk-update, push to Jira.

PMO-ready exports

Word, Excel, PDF exports with your organisation branding applied — logo, colours, fonts.

Honest about gaps

Completeness scores, missing-section flags, unowned-risk warnings. The artefact tells you where it is thin.

Built for review cycles

Comments, approvals, version history. Senior reviews land cleanly, not as a track-change war.

Who Reqify is built for

  • Senior BAs at consultancies writing 20+ BRDs a year
  • Internal BA teams running discovery for transformation
  • BAs who report to a steering committee weekly
  • Lead BAs standardising BA practice across a delivery group
  • Independent BAs / contractors with PMO-grade output expectations
  • BAs writing for regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government)

FAQ for BAs

How is this different from a custom GPT or ChatGPT?+

A custom GPT is a prompt and a model. Reqify is a workspace: structured artefact schemas, retrieval against your actual project files, structured outputs you edit as data, integrations with Jira and Confluence, a real document editor, comments and approvals, audit trail, data residency, team workspace. The difference shows up when a Senior BA reviews the output — Reqify artefacts cite their sources and flag their gaps; general-LLM output cannot.

Does it follow BABOK?+

The artefact set and structures align with BABOK guidance — elicitation techniques, requirement classification, traceability, RAID, RTM. We do not enforce BABOK terminology over your house style; you can configure vocabulary at the workspace level.

Will the output pass a senior review?+

That is the design target. The Reqify Senior Alex coach is also available to review your draft against a Senior-Partner standard before you ship — completeness, traceability, depth, style.

Can I bring my own template?+

Exports apply your organisation branding — logo, colours, and fonts — today. Full house-template conformance (your section names, numbering schemes, and field labels) is in development; if it is a hard requirement for your PMO, talk to us about the pilot programme.

Is my client data safe?+

Data lives in the region you pick per project (US, Canada, EU). No training on customer content. Team plan adds organisation-level audit logging and document-residency controls; SSO/SAML and SCIM are available on the Enterprise plan.
